WORK THEORY
DPL machine uses precision skin rejuvenation technology called Dynamic Pulsed Light (DPL). DPL is a non-ablative and non-invasive treatment that incorporates Laser and Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) to treat skin conditions. The new technology can stimulate 100nm narrow-spectrum pulsed light which also contains the absorption peaks of melanin and oxygen and hemoglobin, allowing accurate concentration of effective therapeutic energy, thus quickly and efficiently solve the facial freckles and telangiectasia (red face) problems.
Feature of Kensung`s DPL
- 100nm narrow-spectrum pulsed light
- xenon lamp imported from UK
- Use quadruple cooling Tech
- Highly uniform energy output
- Good treatment result without pain
- No consumable and NO side-effect.
- No burn to skin for permanent hair removal
Golden gun
Golden Gun is a narrow spectrum photon platform. Its wavelength range is between 550nm and 650nm, which is narrower and more precise than the wavelength range of IPL. This light contains the absorption peaks of melanin, hemoglobin, and collagen, which can not only ensure the curative effect, but also reduce the risk of Side effects when use it for skin rejuvention, pigment removal, acne removal, vascular removal, etc.
Silver gun
The silver gun is specially used for permanent hair removal. It uses melanin in the hair shaft to selectively absorb light energy and transfer heat to the capillaries of the dermal papilla, causing the growth of the dermal papilla to lack nutrition and shrink, thereby achieving the effect of hair removal. The wavelength range of our silver gun (650nm~900nm) is also narrower than IPL, effectively avoiding the risk of burns
High peak value of ultra-narrow pulse width technology
Using high peak value of ultra-narrow pulse width technology, the pulse train can reach 15 sub-pulses, and the sub-pulses can reach micro-nanoseconds, which improves the safety of treatment and customer comfort
Longer xenon lamp life
The effective number of times the xenon lamp emits light determines the service life of the handpiece. We use lamp tubes imported from the UK to ensure that the xenon lamp has an effective number of 400,000-700,000 shots, which is at least 4 times higher than other equipment

Question & Answer
Who is/is Not a Good Candidate for DPL Photofacial?
Those with a higher Fitzpatrick score, those with a tan and those with melasma are not good candidates. Because the light rays are attracted to pigment, darker skin tones can actually become discolored and melasma patches can become darker.
Photofacial would not necessarily be called painful, but it can be a a little uncomfortable. Patients liken the feeling to a rubber band snapping on their skin. The light from the laser is also quite bright, which may be uncomfortable for some with light sensitivity.
How Long Do DPL Photofacial Results Last?
Photofacial results perpetually improve over time, with best results being seen three months after the last treatment. Sun protection and skin care maintenance are essential to the longevity of the results. Sunburns and over exposure will bring back old spots and freckles and dullness will return if proper exfoliation during daily routines are neglected. A new series of treatments are recommended every year for optimal results.
